About the Series

In the book of Colossians, Paul and Timothy address a small but faithful church in Asia Minor. In this powerful letter, the Colossian church is commended for their faithfulness, encouraged to stand firm in the truth of the gospel, and to remember that Christ is more important than anything else in the world.

He is before all things, and by him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.
— Colossians 1:17-18
